On
Monday 14th June (Queen’s birthday public
holiday) Rip organised a run to Newport Beach.
At 10:00am Sash, Rip, Angelo and Paul rolled
up at the usual spot at Roselands car park
where they soon headed down the M5. The cars
roared through the airport tunnel, then on
to Southern Cross drive and through the Eastern
Distributor. Next we proceeded under the harbour
tunnel. The 4 muscle cars cruised to Newport
and parked the Falcon’s. Whilst we were
having a nice lunch there were plenty of admirers
looking and commenting at the cars .
Soon
it was time to head back. We stopped off at
the famous “Harry Café de wheels”
for a pie. Some more photo’s of the
GT’s were taken before we headed off
home.
Great
fun and a great day out.
